rn and raised in Baton Rouge, Wade knew from an early age that someday he'd have his own business. Of course, that "someday" arrived even earlier than he could have expected.
The Birth of a Business
At the tender age of 19 (and while still enrolled at Louisiana State University), Wade was hired as a chauffeur for a local limousine service. The business was primarily rock concerts and weddings, and it was the most fun Wade had ever had, up until that point. After several months, Wade was promoted to manager.
The company's owner eventually began purusing other business opportunities and offered to sell the company to Wade. Wade was interested, but negotiations broke down, so Wade and a partner decided to go out on their own. As a result, Riverside Limousines was born in January of 1978. And the rest, as they say, was history.
Wade & Riverside...Through the Years
As a college student starting out in his parents' home, Wade initially had only one car. As the business grew, Wade re-located Riverside to a prominent local hotel. Finally, after more growth, Riverside Limousines moved to its current location on College Drive. The present facility houses multiple corporate cars, stretch limousines, and large capacity vehicles. The company is centrally located with easy access to most popular destinations in the area.

For over 30 years, Wade has been at the helm of his thriving company -- a business that has survived and flourished thanks to Wade's vision, his compassionate leadership, and his desire to always put the customer's needs first. As Wade says, "We handle everyone from wedding parties to heads of state and actors, and every single detail is important. Their plans change by the minute, and we must keep up. We're only as good as our last ride. I love our clients and want them for life, not just a one-time sale."
This sort of dedication has paid off over the years, and has been formally recognized by others. In 2008, Wade was named the Wedding Professional of the Year by the Professional Wedding Guild of South Louisiana.
Today, Wade still calls Baton Rouge home with his wife, Tracey, and their three children.
